COLLAGE WORK
Melinda tells detailed stories through collages on glass, incorporating themes from architecture, natural history, Classical design, Beaux Arts aesthetics, and Baroque details. She relishes using the tiniest line or color delineation in an image to re-examine traditions and compose a new vision. Every piece she creates is a unique puzzle of intricate details reassembled from historical and botanical imagery to tell a new visual story.
